To celebrate our Under 16s Athletic ending their journey through our Youth Setup, they held their own end of season fun day at the Rivermoor yesterday evening where Jack Purser-Wood was awarded an Outstanding Service Award.
Our Under 16s Athletic have officially ended their journey through our Youth Academy and will embark on their new journey into Senior Football as they compete in the Combined Counties Football League as our Under 18s next season.
If you weren't already aware, Our Under 16s Athletic have predominantly played a year up on Sundays, but with only two or three older boys within the team which is a triumph in itself for our youngsters.
With their journey through Youth Football coming to an end, we felt it was only right to honour the only older boy who remains as part of the team as all the others who started out on this journey have left at one time or another.
